Recomendation to Parent

Recomendation to Parent

  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by ensuring regularity and discipline of their wards. They should also make sure that their children prepare their lessons with devotion and take active interests in the activities of the school.
  • Parents are informed that occasional reports from teachers are conveyed through the diary/work books. They should check the diary/work books and sign the reports if any in token thereof.
  • If a pupil is likely to be absent due to illness for a long period the Principal must be informed immediately through an application showing the name, class and section of their ward.
  • Parents/Guardians are specially requested to notify the school of any change in their address and phone number.
  • Parents/Guardians, their servants or other persons are not permitted to enter the class rooms to see their children or interview their teachers without the permission of the Principal.
  • The Principal may permit them, in matters of urgency, to see the teachers in their free periods. Lengthy discussions should be set apart for the parents-teachers meetings.
  • Servants of the parents are not permitted to loiter in the school premises during school hours.
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to send their wards to school in full uniform, clean and tidy and on time.
  • To ensure integrity and dedication of the members of the staff, the following are the guidelines to the staff/parents/guardians in regard to private tuitions: No member of staff may undertake tuitions to students of this School without the prior sanction of the principal. No staff member of this institution is permitted to visit the homes of the children, to give tuition, to discuss the progress of the child or even suggested private tuition.
  • Criticism of the teachers or of the school in the presence of children, should be avoided because it causes them to loose respect to those teachers and subsequent failure to learn from those teachers. Should a parent have genuine complaints it might be brought to the notice of the principal.
  • Parents are exhorted not to listen to unwarranted gossips and may abstain from floating or spreading unsubstantiated canards as such acts causes untold damages to the institution and the confidence of the Students. Let us remember that to build an institution it requires many years of efforts but to destroy it, no time is required.
  • Parents must always keep in mind that the school, its teachers and the parents are linked together in a continuous process for the education of the child. Even in difficult situations, calm and gentle attitude should be displayed so that the atmosphere is kept cordial, realizing that the net result or recriminations fall ultimately on the child. If the relation with the school is not cordial, it is advisable for parents to shift their children to other institutions of their choice.
