Attendance Rules

  • Every pupil is expected to be regular in attendance. A minimum attendance of 75% of the working days is required for promotion.
  • Pupil should be in the school before the General assembly.
  • Except for duly approved reasons extension of vacation is not permitted. Late comers after vacation who have not intimated in writing about the delay will have their name struck off the rolls after one calender week and vacancies if any, will be filled from fresh applicants.
  • All the pupils should be in school on the first day of each session. Those who extend their vacation without prior permission of the principal will have the names struck off the rolls.
  • Unless notice is given in writing, a pupil who in the middle of the term is absent for more than a fortnight is liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. After one month the pupil will be deemed to have left the school and his/her name struck off the rolls. If such a student reports back, he / she will have to submit an application in writing. He/she may be admitted subject to vacancy and the discretion of the principal who may refuse the application. Full fees will be charged.
  • All leave applications should be addressed to the principal in writing and should bear the signature of parent/guardian. The class and section should be clearly noted for speedy information to the respective class teacher.
  • “The General Assembly is the most important part of the school day". Every pupil should be present at it to begin the day with prayer to God, and listen to the important announcements.
